Terms and Conditions

Conditions of Membership

  1. Membership Activation: Membership will be activated on the purchase date.

  2. Auto-Renewal: All memberships will automatically renew after 1 year unless the member cancels the present contract before that date. A reminder will be sent out 2 weeks before the end of the membership.

  3. Equipment Access: Membership holders will gain access to our Smart Lock to access the equipment trailer.

  4. Non-Transferable Access: Membership holders are not allowed to share access to equipment with individuals who do not hold a membership.

  5. Assumption of Risk: You agree that you use the Facilities and Services at your own risk and responsibility whether supervised or not by staff.

  6. Equipment Usage Hours: Equipment membership has restricted hours of usage. It is your responsibility to check with management for membership restrictions regarding access. Classes and events run by Beachvolleyball.com.au have priority.

  7. Release and Indemnification: In consideration of Beachvolleyball.com.au Ltd Pty accepting an application for membership, the individual:

    • a: Releases and forever discharges Beachvolleyball.com.au from all claims arising from or in connection with membership and/or participation in any Beachvolleyball.com.au.
    • b: Indemnifies and holds harmless Beachvolleyball.com.au to the extent permitted by law in respect of any claims by any person, including other Beachvolleyball.com.au members, arising from membership and/or participation in any Beachvolleyball.com.au Activity.

  8. Fitness and Health Declaration: The member declares that they are and must continue to be medically and physically fit and able to participate in any Beachvolleyball.com.au activity. They are not and must not be a danger to themselves or the health and safety of others. They will immediately notify Beachvolleyball.com.au in writing of any change to their fitness and ability to participate.

  9. Accuracy of Information: An individual warrants that all information they provide to Beachvolleyball.com.au is true and correct.

  10. Use of Personal Information: An individual understands that the information they provided is necessary for the objectives of Beachvolleyball.com.au and acknowledges and agrees that the information will be disclosed by Beachvolleyball.com.au only for the objects of Beachvolleyball.com.au’s general business and to provide membership services. Individuals understand that they will be able to access their information through Beachvolleyball.com.au.

  11. Photographs and Likeness: An individual acknowledges and consents to photographs being taken of them during their participation in Beachvolleyball.com.au and acknowledges that the photographs are owned by Beachvolleyball.com.au. Beachvolleyball.com.au may use the photographs for promotional or other purposes without further consent. Additionally, an individual consents to Beachvolleyball.com.au using their name, image, likeness, and performance in Beachvolleyball.com.au Activities for promotional purposes.

  12. Membership Approval and Revocation: Beachvolleyball.com.au maintains the right to reject an application or revoke membership at any time.

  13. Inherent Risks: Beach Volleyball can be inherently dangerous. Serious accidents can happen, resulting in injury or even death. By applying to be a member, the individual agrees they have voluntarily read and understood this warning and accept and assume the inherent risks in beach volleyball.

  14. Acceptance and Conduct: By applying for equipment membership, an individual agrees that they have read, understood, and acknowledged the above conditions. They acknowledge that if the membership application is successful, they will be entitled to all benefits, advantages, privileges, and services of VNSW and VA membership to the level they have applied for and purchased. As a registered member of Beachvolleyball.com.au, they will undertake at all times to represent themselves in a way that will not bring Beachvolleyball.com.au or the sport of Volleyball as a whole into disrepute. They accept that failure to abide by this determination could lead to sanction by one or more of the aforementioned bodies.
