Welcome to the 24/25 Summer Season of Social Beach Volleyball Tournaments at Maroubra! Get ready for another exciting summer of beach volleyball at Maroubra Beach! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, our social tournaments are designed to bring players together for a fun and competitive day on the sand.

Our tournaments are open to all levels, with prizes and plenty of friendly competition. So, gather your teammates, sign up, and let’s make this summer one to remember!

Format

Our Social Tournaments at Maroubra are spread across 2 days of competition, each tailored to different skill levels to ensure everyone has a great experience:

Please note the event on the 21st of December will only be hosted on Saturday with 2 divisions on one day. 

Day 1 – Division 1 (Saturday)

• Who should join?: Open division targeted at C level players and above (intermediate to advanced players).
• Teams: Maximum of 25 teams (5 Pools of 5 Teams).
• Group Stage: Teams compete in round-robin pool matches.
• A & B Cup Split: After the group stage, teams will be divided based on their performance:
  • A Cup: Top 10 teams.
  • B Cup: Remaining 15 teams.

Day 2 – Division 2 (Sunday)

• Who should join?: Targeted at beginner and lower-level players (G-D Squad), ideal for those looking to enjoy some friendly competition.
• Teams: Maximum of 25 teams (5 Pools of 5 Teams).
• Group Stage: Same round-robin format as Division 1.
• A & B Cup Split: After the group stage, teams will be divided based on their performance:
  • A Cup: Top 10 teams.
  • B Cup: Remaining 15 teams.
