1. Terms & Conditions

1.1 Code of Conduct

We value a positive and respectful environment for all participants. By booking a class or participating in a tournament, you agree to abide by a code of conduct, which includes:

  • Respecting fellow participants and coaches.
  • Playing fair and demonstrating good sportsmanship.
  • Following safety guidelines and any specific instructions provided during the session.
  • Avoiding disruptive or disrespectful behavior that may detract from others’ enjoyment.

1.2 Waiver of Liability Relating to COVID-19

Please note, Beachvolleyball.com.au has put in place preventative measures such as reducing the incidence of contact as well as an increased hygiene protocol in line with the national principles for the resumption of sport and recreation activities by the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in a COVID-19 environment.

However, all participants need to be responsible for their own safety and assess the risk they might put themselves in by participating in activities run by Beachvolleyball.com.au.

By signing up for a SQUAD or BEGINNER COURSE, you agree that:

  • You do not have any flu or cold-like symptoms.
  • You have not had contact with any person with flu or cold-like symptoms.
  • You have not had any contact with nor am I waiting on any test results from a medical center.
  • You understand you are responsible for your own hygiene during the classes and the risks involved in participating.

2. Purchases

Please note that all purchases are final. Normally, we don’t give refunds if you simply change your mind and purchase the wrong item. You can choose between a refund, exchange, or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are different from the product purchased on the website, or don’t perform as expected.

3. Refund Policy for Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates cannot be returned or surrendered for cash or transferred between persons. Gift Certificates may be used at all locations.

4. Refund Policy for 4-Weeks Beginner Course

If you are registered for a 4-week course, you are automatically signed up for 4 consecutive weeks. If you cannot attend a class, please sign in to our website and withdraw from the session at least 12 hours before the session start. Please see our Make-Up Session Guide for information on how to manage your bookings.

In case of an emergency, feel free to email us via office@beachvolleyball.com.au, and we are happy to assist in finding a solution.

5. Student Discounts

We are very passionate about making beach volleyball more accessible. That means more classes, friendlier teachers, and the most affordable prices.

If you’re a full-time student or pensioner, you now have access to our student prices across both venues. We are offering a 20% discount with a concession card. If you would like to get a discount, please send us an email with your Student ID, and we will be more than happy to send you a promotion code.

6. Photo Policy

Any photos captured during the session can be used as a marketing tool on our social media/print media without any compensation. Players can download and share pictures for their personal use.

7. Shipping Policy

7.1 Shipping Costs

Prices displayed on this website include shipping costs unless otherwise stated. Some items are pick-up only and will be stated so in their description.

7.2 Shipping Destinations

  • Australia only

7.3 Delivery Timeframe

  • Sydney area: 5-7 business days
  • Rest of Australia: 5-14 business days

8. Refunds and Returns

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

8.1 Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Be in the original packaging.

8.2 Non-Returnable Items

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned, including perishable goods, gift cards, downloadable software products, and certain health and personal care items.

8.3 Partial Refunds

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted.

8.4 Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed.

8.5 Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account, contact your credit card company, and then your bank. If you’ve done all of this and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at {email address}.

8.6 Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

8.7 Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email and send your item to: 47 Galvin St, Maroubra, 2035.

8.8 Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will find out about your return.

8.9 Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 47 Galvin St, Maroubra, 2035.

You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

9. Security Policy

When purchasing from Beach Volleyball, your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break and is the industry standard. If you have any questions regarding our security policy, please contact us.

10. Customer Service Policy

Beach Volleyball is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavor to ensure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. In the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfill your order, we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder, or a full refund.

11. Wet Weather Policy

12.1 When Will I Know if My Session Is Canceled?

We make weather calls normally 75-90 minutes (latest 60 minutes) in advance for day sessions and 45-60 minutes in advance for early morning squads.

11.2 Where Can I Find the Call for the Day?

We publish the call on our Facebook groups (Manly & Maroubra) and on our homepage. You will also receive an email if we decide to cancel. If you are unsure whether your session is canceled or not, please call 1300-865-539.

11.3 Under What Conditions Will We Cancel?

We monitor the weather radar on the Internet to check the intensity and likely path of any incoming rain. If the rain is intermittent and not too heavy, we will continue with the classes. If the radar shows heavy or dangerous conditions, we will most likely cancel, especially if there is a thunderstorm warning, which could pose a danger to players and staff.

Please note, we are trying our best to make the right call, sometimes a dangerous cloud is missing us by a few kilometers, and we had canceled; sometimes we call it on, and we get wetter than expected. If you do not like to play in wet conditions, please withdraw 12 hours in advance, and do not just decide not to turn up on the day.

11.4 What Happens if My Session Gets Canceled?

  • Beginner players: We will reschedule your session by one week, which extends your course by one week.
  • Squad players: If you are on credits, you will get your credits back automatically; in case you are on membership, a refund is not provided.

Please remember: Our main goal is to run as many classes as possible while offering an enjoyable experience for our players, making sure our equipment is not getting damaged, and ensuring we can all train in a safe environment.

We may update our terms and conditions from time to time. You will be notified of significant changes. Please review these terms periodically for any updates.
